Karen Kalicka, designer and principal of MAX INTERIORS, is an award-winning designer who has created timeless and well-appointed spaces for her clients. Known for her attention to detail, scale and color, Ms. Kalicka creates livable and sustainable environments. MAX INTERIORS provides full service interior design services and consultation for both residential and light commercial interiors. Kalicka brings 20 plus years' experience in space planning, design, and architectural knowledge, to transporting her clients' vision into reality.

 

Prior to launching MAX INTERIORS in 1999, Karen designed award-winning model homes for the largest model home company in the industry. She worked closely with national home builders including NV Homes, Ryan Homes, Stanley Martin, Winchester Homes and more.

 

MAX INTERIORS has provided dozens of homes with high-end residential design and consultation in the Washington D.C. metropolitan area. Additionally, Ms. Kalicka has forged relationships with local custom home builders specifiying both exterior and interior selections for their spec homes.
